On your doorstep. The harbour, with its bobbing yachts and changing tides, is the heartbeat of the town. You’ll find sea kayaking, deep-sea angling, diving and sailing all right here. On land, Charles Fort (one of Ireland’s finest 17th century fortifications) guards the harbour mouth and draws visitors year-round. The Kinsale Trad Festival, the town’s annual arts festival, along with one of Ireland’s most iconic sailing regattas, fill the calendar with events worth coming home for.
