Kinsale GAA

One Club One Vision

Encompassing the three central organisations of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA), the Camogie Association, and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Kinsale GAA Club has embraced the one club philosophy to allow brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and everyone to develop equally and reach their full social, cultural and sporting potential. All our members are treated equally through the administrative union of these associations within our club. This was a progressive step for Kinsale GAA that has been leading the way for other clubs nationally. In reality, it means we are an inclusive and equality-driven organisation.

Kinsale GAA is a values-driven club that encourages full community engagement that will provide enriching experiences for our community through our games and our social and cultural experiences.

Our vision is to develop a much-needed local community hub through the development of our facility, including modern playing pitches, clubhouse, community room, gym, playground and social areas.

Who we are?

Kinsale GAA is a community-based volunteer organisation with circa 1,300 members. The club has outgrown our current location and now we want to ensure our club can have a multi-faceted facility that will provide a centre for recreation in the town of Kinsale and surrounding areas. Kinsale GAA has been serving the community since 1893, Ladies Football became central to the club in the early 2000s, and more recently Kinsale Camogie was established in 2015. The growth across all of these sections of our club necessitates the current requirement for development.

Kinsale itself is a growing community with up to a 20% increase in population in recent years. Our club can develop to serve the needs of our growing community and future generations to come.

Our Values

These values are central to everything we do and have been called out in our strategic plan.
